Bollard Consulting is a reputable recruitment firm providing tailored solutions to our clients. We are in search of a dynamic, seasoned, and goal-oriented Business Development Officer to spearhead business growth in Kenya. This position is based at our Nairobi office.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be tasked with driving business development initiatives, acquiring new clients, and fostering relationships to foster recurring business. They will be responsible for maintaining positive rapport with clients, ensuring their needs are met, and aligning quality candidates
with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying companies with recruitment needs for business development purposes.
• Meeting weekly targets for cold calls and emails.
• Cultivating and managing a robust sales pipeline.
• Achieving monthly sales quotas.
• Managing relationships with clients and candidates.
• Presenting to and acquiring new clients.
• Assisting in advertising positions and attracting suitable candidates through various marketing channels.
• Establishing and nurturing client relationships.
• Regularly meeting with clients to understand ongoing HR consultancy needs.
• Following up on client assignments and collecting feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintaining and updating client and candidate databases.
• Collaborating with finance to ensure timely invoicing and payment settlement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Business Development Officer in an HR consultancy firm or a service related industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in business development with a track record of success.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Integrity, honesty, and transparency.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
